ContinuumRx homes in on $13.5m

ContinuumRx, a US-based home healthcare provider backed by diversified conglomerate Mitsui, has closed a $13.5m equity round led by NewSpring Health Capital, a subsidiary of private equity fund family NewSpring Capital.

NewSpring provided $5.5m of the funding and was joined by private equity firm Health Enterprise Partners and other, undisclosed existing investors.

Founded in 2010, ContinuumRx provides post-acute home care services to patients in joint venture partnerships with healthcare systems. It will use the funding to geographically expand from the five southern US markets in which it operates.

ContinuumRx had previously raised $7m in 2012 from Mitsui subsidiary Mitsui & Co Global Investment, Health Enterprise Partners, Fidelis Capital Partners, Redmont Venture Partners and Stonehenge Capital Company.
