Copado scopes $26m in series B round

Copado, a US-based software development and IT operations (DevOps) technology provider, raised $26m yesterday in a series B round featuring Salesforce Ventures, the corporate venturing subsidiary of enterprise software producer Salesforce.

The round was led by growth equity firm Insight Partners and included ISAI Cap Venture – a joint venture for Capgemini Ventures, the investment arm of consulting firm Capgemini, and venture capital firm ISAI – in addition to Lead Edge Capital and Perpetual Investors.

Founded in Spain in 2013, Copado provides DevOps software apps aimed at enhancing Salesforce’s existing tools.

The funding will go to increasing the company’s global presence and improving products including a new software platform, DevOps 360, that helps execute efficient processes and task automation.

Copado said it has now raised $47m in total, Salesforce Ventures having backed an $8.8m series A round in September 2018 that was also led by Insight Partners.
