Corporates administer additional funding to Vori Health

Corporate investors Intermountain Healthcare, Ascension Ventures and Echo Health Ventures have added at least $5m to a series A round for US-based musculoskeletal care provider Vori Health now sized at over $50m.

Health system Intermountain was joined in the round by Ascension Ventures, the corporate venturing vehicle investing on behalf of 13 hospital operators, as well as Echo Health Ventures, a VC partnership between care provider Cambia Health Solutions and investment firm Mosaic Health Solutions.

Founded in 2020, Vori provides a range of musculoskeletal care services including physical therapy, prescriptions, health coaching and nutritional coaching.

The company had raised $45m in a first tranche of the round in May this year that was led by New Enterprise Associates and backed by existing investors AlleyCorp and Max Ventures.

Ryan Grant, founder and CEO of Vori Health, said: “Vori Health is ecstatic to partner with Intermountain Health, Ascension Ventures and Echo Health Ventures. These strategic alliances will further accelerate our mission to fundamentally transform clinical care delivery.”
