US-based financial management software provider Unqork has raised $22m in a series A round led by investment bank Goldman Sachs’ strategic funding vehicle, Goldman Sachs Principal Strategic Investments.
Financial services technology and analytics provider Broadbridge Financial Solutions also took part in the round, along with all the investors from Unqork’s seed round, which include Summerfield Capital Management, Blue Seed Collective and Bradford Brown Capital Partners.
Founded in April 2017, Unqork operates a software-as-a-service platform providing financial institutions and insurance firms with capabilities such as process automation, account creation and insurance quoting through an entirely graphical user interface that does not require coding.
The series A proceeds will help the company accelerate business growth and deliver features that enhance its market profile.
Unqork had previously raised $5.2m in March 2018, according to a regulatory filing, though it is unclear whether that represents the aforementioned seed funding.
