France-based telecommunications company Orange has secured corporate partners for the fourth year of Orange Fab, its US-based accelerator programme.
Electronics manufacturer LG, payment services firm Visa, hospitality company Hilton, retailer Fnac and drinks company Moët Hennessy will all be participating in the initiative. Orange Fab invests $20,000 in six to nine start-up companies, twice a year, in the form of a convertible note.
The next accelerator programme will begin in December. Start-ups that enrol will have access to an expanded set of growth opportunities, expertise and resources from Orange and its partner brands.
