Germany-based short-term rental property provider Cosi Group has raised €20m ($23.8m) in funding from investors including real estate developer Soravia.
The round also featured Cherry Ventures, E.ventures, Kreos Capital, the Bremke family office and Cosi’s co-founders: Christian Gaiser, Dimitri Chandogin, Gerhard Maringer and Inga Svinhufvud Laudiero.
Individual investors André Schwämmlein, Jochen Engert, Daniel Krauss, Avi Meir, Javier Suarez, Ron Levin, Michael Riegel, Jannik Wässa and Marko Schilde also took part in the round.
Cosi enables customers to book fully-managed apartments on a short-term basis by working with hotels and rental apartment providers, using software to automate part of its operations.
The company received $6m in an August 2019 seed round co-led by Cherry Ventures and E.ventures with participation from Loric Ventures, Lions Venture, the Otto, Porsche and Miele family offices and angel investors Nils Regge, Gleb Tritus, Manuel Stotz, Mato Peric, Andreas Brehmke and Damian Doberstein.
