US-based Cozy, a product of Los Angeles based startup incubator io/LA has concluded an initial $1.5 seed round from Google via its corporate venturing unit Google Ventures, non profit venture company Social + Capital Partnership, and several angel investors.
The San Francisco-based startup has developed and is currently testing rent management software which provides an online framework for renters to meet prospective landlords and exchange personal information. The program can also manage rent payment. The software is currently in a beta trial with only a handful of pre-selected landlords participating.
