US-based marketing services firm Crowdtap has raised $7m in its series A round from a consortium including social media marketing agency Mr Youth.
Venture capital firms Foundry Group, which led the A round, and GSA Venture Partners also invested. Mr Youth had provided Crowdtap with $3m in seed funding at its launch in 2009 .
Prior to founding Crowdtap in October 2009, Brandon Evans was chief strategy officer and managing partner of Mr Youth, where he created social marketing strategies for Pepsi, Microsoft and P&G.
