Event and hospitality software producer Cvent has acquired DoubleDutch, a US-based event management software developer backed by beauty product supplier Grace Beauty, for an undisclosed amount.
Founded in 2011, DoubleDutch has provides software that helps customers set up and monitor apps for events, conferences and trade shows. It offers event registration services in addition to a content management system to manage the event and a mobile app that can be used by attendees.

DoubleDutch landed an undisclosed amount of funding from existing investors including Bessemer Venture Partners (BVP), Bullpen Ventures and KKR in March 2018. The latter had led the company’s $45m series E round in 2015, investing alongside BVP, Index Ventures and undisclosed other investors.
Prior to that round, the company had raised a total of $37.5m from investors including Grace Beauty Capital, the corporate venturing arm of Grace Beauty, Index Ventures, Mithril Capital Management, Floodgate and Enspire Capital.
