The corporate venturing unit of Japan-based mobile games developer Cyberagent has invested in Vietnam-based online book store Tiki Corporation.
The investment was made through CyberAgent’s Asia Internet Fund I, which specialises in the South East Asian market.
Tiki was established in March 2010 by chief executive Tran Ngoc Thai Son. CyberAgent Ventures said in its statement: "Recently, the E-commerce market in Vietnam is growing rapidly with increasing number of internet users. Tiki Corporation is growing as well since they established. We believe that they have a potential to become the top e-commerce company in the Vietnamese market."
