CyberAgent finds right timing for 10sec funding

Japan-based internet start-up 10sec has raised ¥160m ($1.6m) in seed funding from internet company CyberAgent, Japanese venture capital news site The Bridge has reported.

10sec is the creator of a flea market mobile app that allows users of photo sharing app Instagram to buy and sell products online using their photos.

The company plans to open an office in the United States to better serve North American customers, which represent the majority of Instagram users and therefore potential clients.

CyberAgent invested the money following 10sec winning an award at a startup bootcamp it held in March.
