Cybersecurity software provider Zscaler contributed to a $30m series B round for US-based cybersecurity technology developer Cyware yesterday.
Private equity firm Advent International’s Advent Tech led the round, which included Ten Eleven Ventures, Mercato Partners’ Prelude Fund, Emerald Development Managers and Great Road Holdings.
Cyware provides technology that enables corporate customers to establish virtual cyber fusion centres fitted to the needs of organisations with distributed workforces instead of on-site security teams.
Anuj Goel, Cyware’s co-founder and CEO, said: “Our goal with our Virtual Cyber Fusion platform is to help our customers unite their security teams to efficiently respond to high-priority threats by connecting the dots in their environments, and the momentum we are experiencing is proof that we are executing on that mission.
“This series B financing will help us continue to overdeliver for customers, expand our team, improve our platform and truly revolutionise how security operations and threat intelligence teams work together.”
Emerald Development Managers led the company’s $3m seed round, which included Great Road Holdings, in September 2019. Both returned for a $10m series A co-led by Prelude Fund and cybersecurity software producer Tanium in August 2020.
