South Korea-based industrial analytics software developer OnePredict completed a $25m series C round yesterday featuring power producer GS Energy. The round was co-led by Stonebridge Capital and Atinum Investment with additional backing from financial services firm Shinhan Bank, LB Investment, Korea Development Bank, DAOL Investment and KB Securities.

Skyports, a UK-based provider of infrastructure for unmanned aerial vehicles, reached the $23m first close of its series B round on Wednesday with funding from investors including trading firm Kanematsu, airport operators 2i Aeroporti and Groupe ADP, air carrier Irelandia, property developer Goodman Group, wind turbine provider Solar Ventus and Deutsche Bahn Digital Ventures, the corporate VC arm of rail operator Deutsche Bahn. The tranche also featured Levitate Capital and GreenPoint.

Blockchain rewards technology developer Phi Labs raised $21m yesterday in a seed round featuring design agency Ideo’s CoLab unit, crypto market maker Wintermute, crypto staking platform developers Figment and Stake.fish and blockchain validator node operators Chorus One and Cosmostation. The round was co-led by CoinFund and Hashed and included 1Confirmation, Blockchain Capital, Lemniscap and Hypersphere Ventures.

Singapore-based genetic testing service Nalagenetics has secured $12.6m in series A funding from investors including pharmaceutical company Dexa International and genomic testing services provider Diagnos Laboratories. The round was co-led by Intudo Ventures and Vulcan Capital and included the Singaporean government’s Diagnostics Development Hub, A*ccelerate Technologies and unnamed others.

Risk management services firm Accurant led a $10m funding round for US-based grid management software provider SparkMeter yesterday. Breakthrough Energy Ventures and Clean Energy Ventures also contributed to the round, having also taken part in the company’s $12m series A round in August 2020.

Financial services firm Legal & General has invested an undisclosed amount in UK-based mortgage brokerage software developer Smartr365 at a £50m ($66m), Finextra reported yesterday. The corporate had previously supplied $3.9m in funding for Smartr365 in 2018 to increase its overall funding to $5.2m.

Food delivery and restaurant listing service Zomato has led a $5m funding round for India-based cooking robotics technology developer Mukunda Foods valuing it at $30m, Times of India reported today. The round took its total funding to $8m and its earlier backers include Ncubate Capital, Singapore Angel Network and Indian Angel Network.

Reinsurance firm Greenlight Re Innovations provided an undisclosed amount of funding yesterday for AuditCover, an Australia-based developer of tax audit insurance software. The investment was made through subsidiary Greenlight Re Innovations.

US-headquartered data enrichment software developer Karlsgate completed a $4m seed round yesterday co-led by M12 and Motley Fool Ventures, which invested on behalf of software producer Microsoft and financial information provider The Motley Fool respectively.

Chemical producer Dow invested an undisclosed amount in Switzerland-based advanced recycling technology developer Plastogaz yesterday. The cash was supplied by corporate venturing unit Dow Venture Capital in connection with a strategic partnership agreement.

Telecommunications and internet group SoftBank’s Latin America Fund has led a $3.5m funding round for Colombia-headquartered apartment management software provider Neivor, Contxto reported yesterday. Magma Partners, Marathon VC, Creston Venture Capital and Two Culture Capital also took part in the round, as did angel investors including Loreanne Garcia, Courtney McColgan and Claire Diaz-Ortiz.

Kakedas, the Japan-based operator of an online career counselling platform, received an undisclosed amount of pre-series A funding today from investors including marketing group Digisearch and Advertising. The corporate was joined in the round by Mistletoe Japan, KM Associates and angel investor Noboru Hachimine.

Japan-based judicial access platform developer Civitas secured ¥80m ($660,000) today from investors including mobile game publisher KLab’s Anobaka subsidiary. The round was led by XTech Ventures and also backed by Quantum Leap Ventures.

Matsuri Technologies, the Japan-based developer of accommodation management system StayX, raised an undisclosed amount today from financial services firm Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group. The bank invested through its Mitsubishi UFJ Capital vehicle.

Cybersecurity technology provider Terilogy Worx invested ¥50m ($410,000) in Japan-based cybersecurity software developer Nihon Cyber Defence today. The latter had been formed in 2017 as a subsidiary of IT services firm Terilogy.
