M&A
Currency exchange Monex has acquired portfolio company ChatBook, the Japan-based creator of a cloud platform for sourcing marketing leads, for an undisclosed amount. ChatBook was also backed by insurer Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance, accounting tools provider Money Forward and enterprise software providers Salesforce and SAP.
Human Security, the cybersecurity software provider formerly known as White Ops, is merging with PerimeterX, a US-based peer backed by telecommunications firm Deutsche Telekom and enterprise software producer Salesforce. PerimeterX had raised a total of $144m as of February 2021 and Calcalist estimates the combined company is valued at approximately $1.5bn.
