Decisive Point adds investments to advisory work

Decisive Point, a US-based advisory firm helping startups tap government procurement, has set up a venture capital fund with a targeted close of $10m.

The firm has not revealed the size of the initial close of Decisive Point Ventures Fund I but it will invest in early-stage companies with dual-use applications in both the government and commercial markets.

Through its advisory practice under Eric Horan Thomas Hendrix and Andrew Price, Decisive Point has built up a portfolio of early-stage technology companies.

Hendrix, co-founder of Decisive Point with Horan, said: “Decisive Point invests more than just capital in the companies we partner with. We invest our time in supporting great founders and teams as they seek to solve the hard problems facing their communities and our country.”
