US-based computer maker Dell’s corporate venturing unit has set up a $60m data storage fund, the Dell Fluid Data Storage Fund.
The Dell Ventures fund is targeting five to ten storage startups and plans to obtain equity positions with average investments of $3m to $5m per round.
The fund follows Dell Ventures launching a $100m debt fund last month.
