Japan-based recruitment group DIP’s artificial intelligence (AI)-focused startup support scheme, AI.Accelerator, has chosen six companies for its 14th cohort and begun accepting applications for its next edition.
The eight-week open call for participants for the latest batch gathered 48 submissions, and the finalists will take part in the three-month accelerator initiative beginning this month.
Adsai, a provider of digitisation support for job advertising, is among the startups, as is accommodation digital transformation service Cuicin (AIpass) and Mitas Medical, which is developing remote ophthalmic exam technology.
The group was filled out by N.Code, which is working on a database for instructor quality control dubbed FastLabel; Unirobot Cloud, the creator of a cloud-based business communication tool; and Wevnal, which runs a marketing-oriented customer service platform.
AI.Accelerator incubates and invests in AI-related projects and businesses, having received more than 700 applications since it was formed in 2017. It will accept candidacies for its 15th cohort, which is set to take place between December 2020 and February 2021, through November.
