US-based chemicals company Dow Chemical’s water and process solution unit has bought Clean Filtration Technologies, a US-based water filtration company, which was earlier backed by corporate venturing unit Dow Venture Capital.
The deal emerged on Tuesday last week.
Dow Venture Capital, the in-house investment division of the US chemicals company, invested $3m as part of a $3.5m series B round for the water filtration company in 2010.
Dow Venture Capital said the relationship with Clean Filtration Technologies progressed after two investments by Dow Venture Capital and joint research and development work in 2010
