US-based web design platform operator Duda has raised $50m in a series D round featuring Susquehanna Growth Equity (SGE), a subsidiary of quantitative trading firm Susquehanna International Group, TechCrunch reported yesterday.
Investment firm Claridge Israel led the round, which also featured venture capital platform Vintage Investment Partners. The company has now raised $100m to date, including a $25m capital injection from SGE in September 2019.
Founded in 2009, Duda operates a professional website development platform for small businesses. It has helped build more than 1 million websites and its features include e-commerce, team collaboration and client management tools.
Itai Sadan, co-founder and chief executive of Duda, told TechCrunch the company could potentially launch an initial public offering in the next two to three years.
Duda had secured $16.3m in a 2013 series B round featuring Pitango Venture Capital, Zeev Ventures, Primera Capital, Figtree Partners and assorted private investors.
