Dunnhumby exits Content Analytics to Syndigo

Nutrition media platform Syndigo has acquired US-based content management software provider Content Analytics for an undisclosed amount, allowing computer data science company Dunnhumby to exit.

Content Analytics has created a content management software platform for e-commerce businesses that combines management, analytics, syndication and reporting.

The company had raised $5.5m including $4m in series A funding from Dunnhumby’s corporate venturing unit, Dunnhumby Ventures, as well as Almaz Capital and existing backers Visionnaire Ventures, Zetta Venture Partners and WTI in 2014.

David Feinleib, Content Analytics’ chief executive, said: “Our clients will benefit from this combination by virtue of a more comprehensive value-proposition and holistic turn-key product offering capable of serving all of their product information needs.”
