Jasper Infotech, India-based owner and operator of online marketplace Snapdeal.com, raised $133.8m in series D funding at the end of February led by existing investor, online marketplace eBay, together with venture capital firms Nexus Venture Partners, Kalaari Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, Intel Capital and Saama Capital.
Previously, in April 2013, eBay led a $50m round of series C financing for Snapdeal, taking its total amount of funding raised since being founded in 2010 to $102m, which includes $12m in a series A round in January 2011 and $40m in a B round in September 2011.
