Eli Lilly is among the backers providing $8.25m to BioCrossroads, an Indiana seed fund .
The new fund comes after BioCrossroads fully committed its first $6m seed fund, which is invested in 12 companies.
Other investors in BioCrossroads are BC Initiative (BioCrossroads’ for-profit / investment entity), Eli Lilly and Company, the Richard M. Fairbanks Foundation, Indiana University Research and Technology Corporation, Purdue University, the University of Notre Dame, and WellPoint.
