Data centre maintenance provider Park Place Technology has acquired Entuity, a US-based enterprise software developer backed by diversified trading group Mitsubishi, for an undisclosed amount.
Entuity has built a software platform that enables enterprise users to analyse the performance of their networks. The acquisition will add monitoring and automated maintenance services to expand Park Place’s hardware maintenance offering.
London Merchant Securities led a $3.2m round for Entuity in 2014, investing alongside Saffron Hill, after Mitsubishi, Gartmore Investment, LMS Capital, Amadeus Capital Partners and Spectrum Equity Investors had provided $8.5m in 2012.
Spectrum Equity, Amadeus Capital Partners and Westpool Investment Trust had previously contributed to a $12m round for the company in 2000, according to the Boston Business Journal.
