Eruditus Executive Education, an India-based learning course provider backed by a corporate venturing subsidiary of media conglomerate Bertelsmann, is in advanced talks to raise $40m in a series C round, LiveMint reported on Friday.
The round is expected to be led by Sequoia Capital India, a local subsidiary of US-based venture capital firm Sequoia.
Founded in 2010, Eruditus provides executive educational courses and campus programs to professionals in India, Dubai and Singapore.
The company collaborates with executive education arms of Ivy League colleges and provides courses covering areas such as as management, banking, data and analytics, strategic thinking, business leadership and marketing.
In November 2017, Eruditus raised more than $8m in a Series B round led by Bertelsmann’s corporate venturing arm Bertelsmann India Investments. Private investor Neil Bearden supplied an undisclosed amount of series A capital in 2016.
