UK-based internet-of-things (IoT) software provider Evrythng has closed a $10m round featuring branding services provider You & Mr Jones.
IDC Ventures, the venture capital arm of investment bank Grupo IDC, co-led the round with private investor Simon Eyers. The deal included the government-backed UK Future Fund, Sway Ventures, Generation Ventures, Fernbrook Capital, Bloc Ventures and undisclosed additional investors.
Founded in 2011, Evrythng offers a software platform that tracks the course of consumer products and provides data intelligence for their manufacturers. The capital, which Evrythng said brought its overall funding to $60m, will be allocated to technology development and recruitment.
Cisco Investments, the corporate venturing arm of networking equipment producer Cisco, joined Atomico, BHLP and Dawn Capital for the company’s $7m series A round in May 2014, five months before consumer electronics firm Samsung provided an undisclosed sum through subsidiary Samsung Ventures.
BHLP and Atomico then co-led a $7.5m follow-on round for Evrythng in 2015 with participation from Cisco Investments, Samsung Ventures, Dawn Capital and undisclosed additional investors.
Venture capital firm Sway Ventures led Evrythng’s $24.8m series B round in 2017, investing with Bloc Ventures, Generation Ventures and unnamed existing backers. You & Mr Jones added an undisclosed amount in mid-2018 according to The Drum.
Advance Vixeid Partners, an investment affiliate of media group Advance Publications, was described as an existing shareholder at the time of the series B round.
