Exoticca, a Spain-based travel experiences provider backed by construction firm Grupo Palau, hotel chain Palladium Hotels and financial services firm Sabadell, has closed its latest round at €11m ($12.3m), Expansión has reported.
Growth equity firm Milano Investment Partners led the round, which also featured Kibo Ventures, Bonsai Fund, K Fund and Harbert European Growth Capital.
Exoticca runs an online platform where customers can book package holidays to exotic destinations. It offers flash sales covering specific all-inclusive trips, and the platform is integrated with online flight searches so customers can find the flight that best suits their needs.
K Fund led a $4.1m round for the company in June 2018 that included Palladium Corporate Ventures and Sabadell Venture Capital, respective subsidiaries of Palladium and Sabadell, in addition to Grupo Palau and Nero Ventures.
