CyberAgent Ventures, the Japan-based corporate venturing unit of the eponymous media group, has invested an undisclosed amount into Taiwan-based beauty social networking platform Fashionguide.
CyberAgent said it would help FashionGuide expand into Japan, China, Southeast Asian countries and South Korea.
Founded in 1997 by Vincent Hsieh and Allen Chang, FashionGuide broadcasts TV programs, conducts surveys and also hosts online forums.
CyberAgent Ventures set up its office in Taiwan back in October 2011, and has funded dating website I-Part, restaurant review website IPeen, as well as social food recipe sharing site ICook.
