Noah Feingold has joined venture capital firm Stellar Ventures after more than three years as a venture associate at US-based defence and space manufacturing corporation Stellar Solutions.

Feingold will hold a similar role at the US-based firm, which was formed by Stellar Solutions board chair and founder Celeste Ford, to help invest in space technology companies.

Feingold said in a LinkedIn post: “The work we have done at Stellar Solutions has laid the groundwork for [Stellar Ventures], and the amazing portfolio we have built over the last couple of years is coming with us on the next stage of the journey.

“We will continue to leverage Stellar’s unique capabilities to provide diligence and support while providing our founders access to the capital they need to succeed.”

During his time at Stellar Solutions, Feingold conducted multiple investments on behalf of the corporate, including Satellite Vu, a UK-based Earth observation and satellite imagery analytics company.

Stellar Solutions provides engineering and technical know-how for national and international aerospace programmes. As a woman-owned small business, Stellar Solutions continues to pioneer diversity as shown with the launch of the female-led Stellar Ventures.

Stellar Ventures targets early-stage space technology developers. The firm closed a $23m early-stage vehicle, SV Andromeda Fund, yesterday, having worked closely alongside Stellar Solutions in the fundraising process.

Other Stellar Ventures portfolio companies include Corvus Robotics, a drone developer for inventory and inspection, and space-borne optical telecommunications startup Skyloom Global.
