Germany-based financing platform FinCompare raised €10m ($11.7m) in a series A round yesterday led by ING Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of financial services firm ING.
Uniqa Ventures, the investment arm of insurance provider Uniqa, and Speedinvest also contributed funding.
FinCompare operates an online lending marketplace that enables startups and SMES to secure financing from more than 200 financial services partners, including commercial and development banks.
The company has processed more than €1bn in transactions to date through products such as credit, leasing and factoring. The series A funding will enable FinCompare to further develop its platform, invest in recruitment and drive growth.
FinCompare previously obtained $3.8m in seed funding from Uniqa Ventures, Speedinvest and assorted angel investors in June 2017.
