FiscalNote reveals details of $10m series C

US-based big data analytics provider FiscalNote has raised $10m in series C capital from a consortium including social media network Renren.

Visionnaire Ventures, an investment fiirm backed by Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund Temasek, and Green Visor Capital co-led the round, which included New Enterprise Associates (NEA), 645 Ventures, Plug and Play, SF Capital, Perle Ventures, Conversion Capital and angel investors Jerry Yang and Mark Cuban.

FiscalNote has created a platform to search, track and forecast the passing of bills from all 50 states, Washington DC and congress. Renren previously supplied $10m in series B funding for the company in February 2015.

Visionnaire, AME Cloud Ventures, NEA, Winklevoss Capital, Enspire Capital, Green Visor Capital and Middleland Capital invested $7m in a 2014 series A round, after NEA, AME, First Round and Mark Cuban had provided $1.2m in seed funding in 2013.
