New York-listed medical device provider Johnson & Johnson’s Cordis subsidiary has acquired Flexible Stenting Solutions (FSS), a US-based maker of stents to hold open arteries, for an undisclosed amount.
In May 2011, FSS raised an undisclosed amount in its series B round from Goodman, a Japan-based medical device company, after the two agreed to a distribution partnership in Asia the previous year.
FSS’s other investors include merchant bank Burrill.
