Elementum, a US-based developer of supply chain management apps that was incubated by supply chain services provider Flextronics, has announced the addition of five new investors.
Box co-founder Aaron Levie, Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang, Workday co-founder and co-CEO Dave Duffield, Silver Lake Partners co-founder and managing director Jim Davidson, and Workday VP of products Mike Frandsen are the new investors.
Elementum wants to disrupt the supply chain management market by introducing software that simplifies a traditionally archaic and difficult process. It exited stealth mode in February 2014, having raised $44m from Flextronics and venture capital firm Lightspeed Venture Partners, which was added to a $17m series A round raised previously.
