Flux flows towards $29m

US-based cloud collaboration software producer Flux Factory has received $29m in series B capital from investors including Far East Ventures, the corporate venturing division of real estate developer Far East Organization.

The round was co-led by Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund Temasek and infrastructure consultancy firm Surbana Jurong. DFJ, South Park Ventures, Borealis Ventures and Obvious Ventures also took part in the funding round.

Flux Factory has developed a cloud-based service that enables architects, engineers and contractors to exchange data, such as schematic designs and analysis models, between the various platforms used by the respective professions.

Flux previously raised an $8m series A round in May 2014 from investors including GV, the corporate venturing arm of conglomerate Alphabet. DFJ led the series A, while Borealis, Andreessen Horowitz and Ev Williams also participated.
