Netherlands-based data analytics software developer Flytxt has received $11m in funding from DAH, a holding vehicle for sales and marketing services provider Service Innovation Group.
Founded in 2008, Flytxt has created a software platform that can organise and analyse large amounts of mobile customer data, and it generally serves telecommunications firms and other enterprise customers.
The funding will go to research and development as Flytxt looks to further develop its technology, move into new product verticals and complete a backlog of orders it said was close to $100m.
Flytxt had previously raised $11m in a June 2015 round co-led by Sunrise Capital and Big Data Investments, and its other investors include fellow investment vehicles Schnell Consul and RM Beteiligungsverwaltung, as well as Clifton Holding and venture capital firm IVC Venture Capital.
Vinod Vasudevan, chief executive of Flytxt, said: “This investment will help us to serve our customers more efficiently as well as invest in R&D, and grow faster through cloud offerings and channel partnerships.
