US-based health technology developer Wellframe closed an $8.5m series A round on Monday supported by investors including Formation 8, the venture capital firm backed by several Asian corporates.
VC firm Draper Fisher Jurvetson led the round, which also included Waterline Ventures and Queensbridge Venture Partners.
Wellframe aims to use artificial intelligence and machine learning to help improve healthcare management through mobile technology. It previously raised $1.5m in a seed round backed by several private investors earlier this year.
