Future Group’s corporate venturing unit is expected to raise R750 crore ($170m) after floating with a price band of R10 to R11 per share by the end of the month.
Enam Securities, JM Financial and Kotak Mahindra Capital are the book-running lead managers to Future Ventures.
KK Rathi, chief executive of Future Ventures, said: "The idea is to invest in businesses that are strategically important for the overall group. We will be looking at acquiring, creating new and growing our existing private brands."
