Glints gathers series B funding

Glints, a Singapore-based jobs listing platform backed by human resources firm HRnetGroup, has secured $6.8m in a series B round led by venture capital firm Monk’s Hill Ventures, DealStreetAsia reported yesterday.

The oversubscribed round also included commitments from MindWorks Ventures, Fresco Capital and Wavemaker Partners.

Founded in 2013, Glints has developed an online platform that helps companies fill vacant junior and mid-level positions by automating the sourcing and matching processes.

The company’s client roster includes on-demand ride platform Go-Jek, insurer FWD Insurance and financial services firm UOB Bank.

As well as funding an expansion into Vietnam and Hong Kong, capital will also be used to grow Glints’ product and engineering teams.

In February 2018, the company received a $380,000 investment from HRnetGroup. Golden Equator Capital and Gobi Partners co-led a $2m series A round in 2016, investing alongside Wavemaker, Fresco, East Ventures, Infocomm Investments and Pix Vine Capital.

East Ventures, Infocomm, Pix Vine Capital and several angel investors had previously taken part in a $475,000 seed round in 2015.
