Gojek Xcelerate, an accelerator scheme jointly run by Indonesia-based ride hailing service Gojek and accelerator operator Digitaraya, has selected three finalists at its Gojek Xcelerate Xcellence event.
Food supply chain marketplace Etanee, carbon neutrality platform operator Jejak.in and Qlue, the operator of an online platform that lets citizens flag up issues to specific local government departments, made up the list.
The startups have a social impact angle and were chosen from 35 teams that joined four six-month programs. The latest graduates, announced last month, contained 11 direct-to-consumer technology developers.
Formed in September 2019, Gojek Xcelerate’s first set of alumni consisted of five Indonesia-based machine learning startups that were followed the following month by a second batch consisting of female-led startups from across the Asia-Pacific region.
The third cohort was revealed in February this year and featured nine consumer goods-focused companies from Indonesia.
Jejak.in was among the most recent members, which included art education and event manager Bartega, men’s telehealth platform operator Elio, artificial intelligence-equipped retail app developer GetGo and apparel designer and vendor Kerokoo.
The group was filled out by local artisanal accessory maker Mena Indonesia, Himalayan salt seller Pura The Purest, cosmetics manufacturer Rollover Reaction, pyjama brand Sare Studio, fashion e-commerce platform operator Trope Cosmetics and Watt, which creates bespoke footwear items.
