Time Warner Investments (TWI), the corporate venturing unit of US media group Time Warner, has joined the consortium investing $6m in social media group AdaptiveBlue.
In a regulatory filing, Allison Goldberg, vice president of TWI (pictured), has joined AdaptiveBlue’s board, alongside peers from venture capital (VC) firms RRE Ventures and Union Square Ventures in a round that could raise up to $7.5m.
The two VCs had previously invested $4.5m in AdaptiveBlue’s series B round in October 2008. The portfolio company runs the GetGlue social network.
