Goldman Sachs has led a $100m Series E round into on-demand digital music service Spotify. There was also participation from existing investor, venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Accel Partners, a global venture and growth equity firm, Coca-Cola ($10m), investment company Digital Sky Technologies and Fidelity Investments, a multinational financial services corporation ($15m).
This latest financing means that since its launch Spotify has raised of $288m which includes $21m in its Series A, $50m in its B round, €11.6m ($15m) in its Series C and $100m in a venture round last year led by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers.
Currently Spotify has more than 10 million users.
