US-listed search engine group Google has acquired Like.com, a US-based visual search engine for clothes shopping, for an undisclosed sum.
Like.com had raised $32.3m in its series C round in 2008 from Nokia Venture Partners’ second fund managed by BlueRun Ventures, the spin-out general partner from the Finland-based mobile phone maker, and venture capital peers Bay Partners, Crosslink Capital, Leapfrog Ventures and Menlo Ventures.
News provider VentureWire said Like.com, formerly known as Riya, had raised about $51m in total, including $15m in its series B round in 2006.
