Swell, a US-based company which delivers an algorithm-driven, personalised radio service, has raised $5.4m in series A funding, led by venture capital firm Draper Fisher Jurvetson, with the participation of Google Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of internet search company Google, and venture capital firms InterWest Partners, Correlation Ventures, and Draper Nexus Ventures.
Seed investors in Swell included venture capital investors Charles River Ventures, A16Z and Inspovation Ventures.
