Hand surgeon Thomas Graham is to become the chairman of Cleveland Clinic Innovations, the corporate venturing division of one of the US’s largest medical research institutions.
Dr Graham (pictured) will be the first chairman for four years after Jay Yadav left, according to news provider MedCity that revealed the news.
Christopher Coburn , executive director of Cleveland Clinic Innovations, which was ranked as one of the most influential corporate venturing units in healthcare by Global Corporate Venturing last month, said: "We expect the arrival of Dr Graham to increase our reach in the investment, device and entrepreneurial communities and should further accelerate our commercialization efforts."
