China-based mobile operating system (OS) developer Haimawan has received RMB360m ($53.6m) in a series C round that included software developer Elefirst Science & Technology, China Money Network reported on Friday.
Haimawan has developed a mobile OS-as-a-service platform which enables users to access content across devices whether they are physically stored on the current gadget or not.
The money will support the development of Haiman Cloud, a cloud computing offering that has applications in a wide range of uses, from mobile gaming to enterprise device management.
Haimawan had previously secured an eight-figure renminbi amount in series B capital in 2015 from undisclosed backers. The previous year it had raised RMB10m in a series A round backed by unnamed investors.
