US-based advanced mattress producer Helix Sleep has raised $7.35m in a series A round featuring Simon Venture Group, the corporate venturing arm of property developer Simon Property, TechCrunch reported on Monday.
The round also featured Double J Capital, Western Technology Investments, Great Oaks VC and individual angel investors including Jonathan Klein, the co-founder of image provider Getty Images and Jess Itzler, co-founder of business jet provider Marquis Jet.
Helix Sleep provides high-grade mattresses made from latex, high-grade foam and packed micro-coils that are selected for a customer’s body type and sleeping needs.
The funding will likely support manufacturing, sales and marketing, Helix Sleep board member Jordan Hitch told TechCrunch. Helix Sleep had raised $800,000 in angel funding in 2015.
