Daniel Hinz has become the managing director of the venture building and investment arm of Niterra Group, the Japanese diversified manufacturer formerly known as NGK Spark Plug.
Berlin-based Hinz was previously general manager and head of Venture Lab in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Formed in early 2021, The Global Venture Lab has a $100m fund that invests in a range of sectors, including mobility, food, wound care and women’s health.
Its parent, Niterra Group, is a diversified conglomerate that manufactures a range of products including spark plugs, medical products, fine ceramics and semiconductors.
