OpenX Software, a US-based provider of digital and mobile advertising revenue products and services, which is backed by investors including SAP Ventures and Samsung Venture Investment Corporation, has appointed Howard Hochhauser to its board of directors.
Currently, Hochhauser is chief financial officer (CFO) and chief operating officer of online family history resource Ancestry.com, which he led through its initial public offering and subsequent acquisition by Permira Funds. Previously, Hochhauser worked as CFO at Martha Stewart, as an equity research analyst of at Bear, Stearns, and in various financial roles at First Boston Corporation and KPMG Peat Marwick. Hochhauser is a Certified Public Accountant.
