China-based industrial conglomerate Huatong Group has linked up with a Singapore-based asset manager to launch a technology-focused corporate venturing fund.
Huatong Jianli Venture Capital Fund is a joint venture between the conglomerate and Singapore’s Merchant Capital in the Qingdao National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone.
The zone has introduced eight venture funds from seven investment groups.
