Huboo, a UK-based logistics service for online retailers, has raised £14m ($18.1m) in series A funding from investors including Hearst Ventures and Maersk Growth, subsidiaries of media group Hearst and shipping group AP Moller–Maersk.
Venture capital firm Stride.VC led the round, which included Episode 1, Ada Ventures and True Capital.
The company has raised about $23m in total since November 2017, according to TechCrunch. It received $1.2m in a September 2019 seed round led by VC firm Episode 1 and backed by unnamed angel investors.
Huboo will use the money on software development, UK expansion that will take place through opening a third warehouse and establishing an on-the-ground European presence.
