China-based accounting software developer Huisuanzhang closed a $60m series C-plus on Thursday led by insurance provider Sunshine Insurance, according to DealStreetAsia.
Consumer electronics manufacturer Xiaomi and private equity firm Gaocheng Capital also contributed to the round.
Founded in 2014, Huisuanzhang runs a software-as-a-service bookkeeping platform offering functionality such as tax auditing, accounting and business registration services.
The platform is aimed at small to medium-sized enterprises and has attracted 500,000 clients to date, the company said.
The capital will go towards platform development and commercialisation activities, as well as research and development efforts.
Huisuanzhang most recently received an undisclosed sum from IDG Capital last month. It previously closed a series C round of undisclosed size that included Xiaomi and was led by Gaocheng Capital in September 2018.
Xiaomi and online lender CreditEase contributed to a $62.6m series B round in January 2018, investing alongside IDG Capital, 51Xinyongka Industrial Fund and Tsinghua University-allied THG Ventures.
Huisuanzhang obtained an eight-digit renminbi (RMB10m = $1.45m) sum from the Chinese government-backed National Small and Medium-Size Enterprises Development Fund in March 2017.
The company secured $22m in series A funding in January 2017 backed by IDG Capital, China Soft Capital, Jiaxing Lingchuang Fund and Chuanrong Capital.
